10 Sep 20 – In order to ensure that we keep you safe on your return to playing badminton, all attendees at club nights are required to comply with the following rules:
1. Do not attend if you have Covid 19 symptoms or have been asked to self- isolate.
a. If during the session you think you may have developed the symptoms -tell the session organiser.
b. Please bring a face covering in case you need it.
2. Only attend if you have signed up to the session on the Playwaze App/Webpage. You will be assigned a group on the evening.
a. The organiser will tell you which group (maximum of 6 to a group) you have been allocated.
b. You must stay with this group and its allocated court for the entire session.
3. Track and Trace requirements-By requesting to play you agree to:
a. Provide the session organiser with you email and contact phone number.
b. That the session organiser can hold these details for up to 21 days. and can pass them to the Track and Trace authority if requested.
c. Inform the session organiser if you subsequently have Covid 19 symptoms or have been asked to self- isolate.
4. Abide by the 2-meter social distancing rule at all times.
a. When traveling to and from the venue do not share transport with others unless you are from the same household. Please arrive on time.
b. Maintain you distance from others while waiting to play in your group allocated area.
c. When entering and leaving the venue please do so in a staggered manner so as to maintain 2 meters.
d. No hand shaking ,high fives etc after games have been played.
e. When the session has ended, the group on the court nearest the exit will leave first.
5. Use hand sanitiser provided (or your own if you prefer):
a. When entering the venue.
b. After touching any of your belongings (including drinks bottle).
c. Before playing each game.
6. Use of equipment.
a. Come prepared ready to play as changing rooms are not available (although toilet facilities will be available), with all your own equipment and do not share with others (e.g. rackets and drink bottles). Please ensure that you bring sufficient drinks with you as none will be available at the sports centre.
b. Shuttles will be provided to each group. Only use the shuttles allocated to your group/court and at the end of the session collect them up and place into the container provided.
c. Avoid touching court equipment (Nets, Posts etc ) -if you inadvertently do – immediately use the hand sanitiser.
d. Keep your equipment bags 2-meters from the court and other players in the area allocated.
7. Payment
a. Payment for the session must be made by BACS-no cash can be collected. The payment details are provided in the session details of the Playwaze App/Webpage
8. Most importantly
a. Have fun, enjoy yourself and stay safe.
