There are 2 ways you can become a member of our badminton club. You can become a member or you can pay as you go.

It is completely up to you.

If you wish to be a club member but don’t want to make the subscriptions  commitment you can just pay per night any night you just want to turn up.

 If your not sure want type of membership you want why not just try it out for a few weeks as Pay As You Go and then just transfer to a subscriptions based membership (what you have already paid under Pay As You Go will be deducted from the Subscriptions Membership fee!)

 For anyone wanting to try us out just turn up and we will let you have the first night free!

6Finding a new badminton club is like finding a new pair of shoes… its gotta be the right fit!
Here at Gryphon, we pride ourselves on being a very friendly, sociable club, with members of all ages and abilities. We have a number of teams that play competitively and we also have some complete beginners.

All abilities welcome

We do expect all players to play with everyone, so that everyone gets exposure to tougher (and easier) games. Every club night, games are arranged by a member of the committee, or an experienced club member, to ensure that games are kept flowing and that some sort of balance of abilities is kept!

Are you the competitive type?

We have regular squad players at each club night, and we have frequent ‘squad nights’, where all squad members are encouraged to attend and we get in some match practice. We also have access to squad and beginner coaching, so whatever your level.. we’ve got something for you.

Want to give us a try?

We ask all newcomers to join us on a Monday, for your first visit, as this is when we have the most court space, committee members and we can give you a proper introduction to the club.

Just let us know you’re coming and we’ll keep an eye out for you.
